Brazil, the birthplace of the music that I love and sing. Nothing could be more gratifying to me as a Portuguese singer, brought up in Brazil, based in the Balkans for the last 2 decades, spreading the rich diversity of Brazilian music in Europe, than to have my top listeners in Brazil!
Japan, where Bossa Nova is more popular, respected and treasured than in Brazil itself. This country wholeheartedly embraced Bossa Nova, and its popularity turned Japan in the biggest consumer of this genre in the world.
Croatia, having lived in Zagreb for several years, Croatia is like home to me. My record label INTEK Music is Croatian, I continue performing there regularly, and my favourite annual Summer venue is the Scena Amadeo festival in Zagreb, where every year I take the beauty of Brazilian music to a wonderful public.
Italy, where I've been recording since 2010! My debut as a recording artists will forever be linked to Bari, in the region of Puglia, its outstanding musicians, their love for and knowledge of Brazilian music. Italy has a long standing history with Bossa Nova, having welcomed João Gilberto, Toquinho, Vinícius de Moraes, Chico Buarque, leading to exceptional partnerships with Italian singers like Ornella Vanoni and Mina.
